Miss Laura Dawson ASLTIP Speech and Language Therapist

 

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated therapist specialising in adults with communication and/or swallowing disorders secondary to stroke, neuro-progressive disorders, vocal dysfunction, or head and neck cancer. I also have an additional interest in children's phonology. I provide evidence-based, tailor-made intervention programmes for my clients following accurate, timely assessment. I am the published author of auditory-bombardment stories (Winslow-cat press) for children, and work with children through fun and innovative therapy. I can provide training to businesses on: Dysphasia, Dysphagia awareness, Voice/vocal hygiene and laryngectomy.

 

I am available to work evenings and weekends and operate in and around Brentwood, Southend and St.Albans.
